Your wolves have different characteristics (Value, Moon, Counting Power, Majority Power).
At the end of each round, you compare the Values of each pack for each line, and win as many points as the number of wolves involved, plus a bonus for the majority of Moons.
Between rounds, the winner gets an extra Wolf, and the loser a Power card, which can give considerable strategic advantages for the rest of the game.
The first player to win 2 rounds wins the game!

Resum de les regles
Overview
You are the Alpha of your wolf pack and must compete with the other for territory on the mountain.
The goal of the game is to place your wolf cards in such a way (in a 3x4 or 4x3 grid) that maximizes your score. Best two out of three wins.
Setup
At the beginning of the game, each player has three cards in their hand of an 11-card deck. Each player's deck is the same (just different colors to distinguish whose is whose).
| Wolf Value | Quantity |
|---|---|
| 1 | 2 |
| 2 | 2 |
| 3 | 4 |
| 4 | 2 |
| 5 | 1 |
Card Effects
1: If placed in the corner of the rectangle, its value is x3 when scored. (It is still a 1 when being covered by an opponent's wolf.)
3: If during scoring, you win a row with a 3 in it, each 3 scores an additional point.
Gameplay
Each player takes turns placing a wolf card in the playing area, then drawing from their deck to replace it.
Placement Rules
Place a card next to another card. Except for the first card of a round, each card has to be placed adjacent to another and fit the bounds of a 3x4 or 4x3 rectangle. BGA will prevent you from overextending the playing area.
OR
Place a card on top of your opponent's wolf. To do this, the value of your card must be exactly one higher than the card you intend to place it on. A 3 cannot cover a 3. You cannot cover your opponent's last or only visible wolf.
Round End
A round can end in two ways:
- The 12-card rectangle is completed.
- A player places their last card. If the opponent has not gone yet, they will complete their turn and the round will end.
Scoring
Scoring is a procedure that BGA handles automatically.
- Moon Majority - the player with the most visible moons (green or blue) earns two points. No one gets points if there is a tie.
- Row Majority - the sum of the values for each player's cards (the number at the top of the diamond) in a row is totaled. The player with the highest sum wins the row. The other player's cards are discarded/ignored for the next step of scoring. On a tie, all cards in the row are discarded/ignored.
- Round Points - Each card gives one point to a player. Card effects are also applied here.
The player with the most points wins the round. On a tie, the player with the most cards in the playing area wins the round. If still tied, replay the round.
Rounds After the First
The player who won the previous round gets to add a red "Lone Wolf" card to their deck.
The player who lost the previous round gets to choose an Alpha Power effect. It can only be used by that player for the rest of the game. Some Alpha Powers are ongoing and some can only be used once in a round.
