This has happened to me in several games. If you take both dice back, the world does not settle. It seems to settle if you only take back one die.

This bug seems intermittant. I've built Galactic exchange twice tonight. It failed to complete the settle once in each game, and did it properly at least 3 or 4 other times. Perhaps it depends on what's being built? ONe fail was on an expensive (6 die) building, and really messed up my game

I cannot settle Alien Sentinel (twice) when Galactic exchange effect happens.
in this game, another player cannot get Ailen Tech.

Game 35935872, last turn, completed Alien Robot Scout Ship, removed two dice, world did not build. Might be just a bug for alien worlds or the last turn of the game?

Game 35954947. Was trying to settle 6 cost Alien world. Took back two die Blue and Red and the settle did not happen. Next turn I did not use and world was settled.

This bug happened multiple times. The bonus effect of GALACTIC FEDERATION and GALACTIC EXCHANGE doesn't work. I get my dice back, but I don't receive the new tile.

This bug happens for me, too.
This bug seems to happen WHEN there is no other phases after develop or settle in the round.
Then, next dice clicks should be just for "recall", without GALACTIC FEDERATION and GALACTIC EXCHANGE.

IMPORTANT: If you get 1 or 2 dice back and the remaining dice are not enough to cover the cost of the tile, you get no tile. The game should check for payment >= cost BEFORE the bonus is applied.

Let's say I have Galactic Federation in play. I assign 4 dice to the settle phase. Distant World (cost 4) is in on my construction zone. I move the dice on top of the planet tile, thus matching its cost (4 dice == cost 4). Then the game asks me whether I want to use the bonus of Galactic Federation. By doing so, I remove up to 2 dice from the top of the acquired tile. THIS is where things go wrong. Now the dice on top of the planet tile are less than its cost (2 dice == cost 4), thus denying the transaction.

This occurred for me on table #36022010 at moves 225 and 226. Those were the moves where I took back the two dice, but the tile did not get built. I ended up building it on the following turn by selecting to not use the power.

This also happened to me at Table #36025552. I built the Galactic Exchange, then built a 1 worker world (Secluded World) - worked as expected. Next Turn, I "should've" built a five worker worker (Designer Species) but after I put the two dice back in the cup, the world didn't build. Worked as expected on the next turn (2 dice back in cup, world built). On the next turn it also worked as expected - built a three worker world (Jumpdrive Fuel Refinery) then out two dice back in cup and world built.

It takes the dice from the world before they have been spent, so there are not enough left to build the world. It should ask you to highlight dice on the world, use them to build the world, and then transfer the highlighted ones to the cup instead of citizenry.

This bug is not only when you take back both die. I took back one die, and it didn't build my 1 settle, although It should have. Game: #36068645

I have had this issue as well. it asks you to use the Galatic Exchange use ability before the world is built. Those dice are returned to the cup before the world actually gets built and now the world is short dice and doesn't get built.

Example - 4 alien world, you have 4 dice to settle, two go back to the cup and the world doesn't get built, now the world has 2 dice sitting on it and doesn't go to your Tableau.

In Game #36093320 it happened in move #85 and again in move #137.
Somewhere in between these moves the Galactic Exchange worked all right once, so it only happens now and again. Can't say what triggers the bug.

Fixed. Thanks for your report and sorry for the long delay for fixing this (the bug was not happening every time, so it was difficult to find the conditions to reproduce it).

The fix works also for Galactic Federation.
