Player Y gave 1 1's to player X
Something like that -

Trying to learn the game without this information makes it really hard to follow.
In a four player game the number of extra lines in the log would be a maximum of 12 per round? And you could even shorten it down to four if you include all gatherings to the same player in the same line.
