I just fired with a ship, taking all shots from the only weapon group that had a valid target.
It has now moved focus to my second ship with a weapon group that has a valid target. The weapon group is flashing like I can fire with it, but when I click on the weapon group it says 'Any and all firing by one ship must be completed before another ship may fire'. I have the option to stop firing ship. But if I stop it looks like it will stop firing with my ship that I actually want to fire with. -

It would be good to explain that is the case. Maybe highlight which ship is currently the 'firing ship' rather than grey it out.
I would also like to suggest some log improvements. When a ship fires, it would be good to say what weapon it is firing and what its target is. It just says 'shipname is firing'. This would improve QOL for people playing turn based games.
"Stop" has the wrong connotation here. It's either more permanent or it refers to movement (this ship that's firing is in motion; bring it to a stop).
