Confirming the Pass before someone calls Tichu limits your choices but waiting until after gives you more choices. This promotes slow play• Quin és el meu navegador?

Since this can't be one on BGA then you shouldn't hit the confirm button quickly so that you can respond to a Tichu. It would be better to allow players to redo their pass if someone calls Tichu during the pass.
If my partner calls Grand Tichu my pass may be very different than if they didn't and I need someway to change pass.

11 de gen. 2021 5:10 • The aspect of promoting slow play can be solved by making a Tichu call made before everyone confirms passes to have the side effect of resetting the pass confirmation state of anyone who already had confirmed what they were passing. That gives them the option to review their pass in light of the new information that someone has called Tichu. That way you can go ahead an set your pass, knowing that if someone calls Tichu you get a chance to change the pass, so there would be no reason to delay an initial pass confirmation just to wait to see if anyone was going to call.

6 d’abr. 2021 12:20 • I also agree with YodaJacobs. In an asynch game, if I’m the last to decline Grand Tichu and I’m the first to select cards to pass, my partner might have wanted to call Tichu once they received their new cards but since my pass was already locked in, there’s nothing they can do.
I would add a button that says, “Call Tichu and reset pass.”

Additionally, with that change we could add that you can start exchanging cards once you decided to or not to call grand tichu without need to wait for others to call it. But I dont mind much just waiting for others grand tichu

I think grand has to stay separate just because it means you have to start dealing out the deck.
But I do agree that anytime someone calls Tichu during passing it should just reset the entire passing state with a new refreshed game timer.
If two people call it, it resets twice.

That is going to mess with everyone's hands and strategy . I think it is just a "Quirk" of playing Asynch. I believe passing and calling Tichu is as fair as they can be in Asynch as is it is currently designed. Note: My asynch games last days, weeks, and months. It is great, and I love it. I agree that it is a slightly "different version" of TICHU than playing live. We are lucky enough to have the option to play asynch, live, or both!!! I vote NO on resetting.passes.

14 d’ag. 2023 10:43 • Sorry for my previous message. I had misunderstood this issue. We are clearly showing the Tichu calls in the pass cards panel, now. So this is done.
But what you are discussing here is about Tichu calls after one player has already passed.
I think it will be fairly hard to implement that all card passing is reset when someone calls Tichu. I agree that this would be the best solution, but you may have to wait forever until this gets implemented, because it takes a substantial amount of time.
Alternatively I could offer the second best option of just not allowing Tichu calls is at least one player (at not all players) have passed their cards. WDYT?

yodajacobs • Els desenvolupadors estan d'acord que és una bona idea i estan planejant treballar-hi:
14 d’ag. 2023 18:40 • I'm not sure that workaround adds anything. The initial complaint is about the current situation promoting slow play. As EpicDim indicates, the workaround would create a situation with turn-based where you wanted to call Tichu prior to the first lead but wouldn't have the chance because someone else leads the first trick while you don't have the table open ready to pounce. Your only way to avoid that would be to wait so that you were the last person to set their pass. Still promotes slow play, albeit maybe in a smaller number of cases. (Having two people who were of such a mind likely is a vanishingly small circumstance but would lead to deadlock as both waited to be last.)
Even if the workaround is added, I suggest keeping this bug open for the harder fix.

15 d’ag. 2023 2:12 • How about adding Tichu call steps just before exchanging cards and just after exchanging cards (but before the first trick lead), like Grand Tichu call steps?

15 d’ag. 2023 2:16 • With this solution all players are assured to have equal chances to declare Tichu before and after exchange.
Also, if this gets implemented, declaring Tichu DURING exchange should be blocked as it becomes redundant and promotes slow play as other comments say.
