According to the rulebook you should receive a new terrain card, when all spaces of that terrain are blocked at the beginning of your turn

At move #256, Magic Engel must play his mandatory action on Desert hexes which are all occupied. He should then draw a new Terrain card (rule page 4).

The draw of a new Terrain card can also happen during the turn, as long as there is at least one settlement to build as part of the mandatory action.

Was given Dessert Tile, only one space left on board, would not let me or other players skip my turn,
Is this something that can be fixed, this has happened to me on multiple occasions?

Even if this is pretty rare, it should be coded so we can finish the game and not have to abandon it. This happened on table #145850680, too; we ran out of deserts and I wasn't able to complete my turn.

Still happens. Can also happen in the middle of the turn of even before the first settlement is built based on a terrain card if you use some location tile first.

Happened to us on Apr 7, 2021. Five players and on last turn a player could only play 2 of the mandatory 3 tiles.

I have the desert terrain card and only through using a location tile can I move an existing building to place 1 of 3 mandatory tiles. Otherwise I cannot complete a move, am I reading this correctly the game should have dealt me a new terrain card or is the interface incorrect by not completing my turn after my one allowable move?

Also happened to me, also for desert. Only one space left, occupied it using a special desert tile to see if it would solve, did not help. Game stuck.

Most here have talked about this happening with Desert. Could this just be a desert issue?

Can confirm this bug report. I've seen this happen in this game: boardgamearena.com/8/kingdombuilder?table=280239189.

Because this game contained 2 oasis tiles, desert tiles ran out.

There was only one Desert tile available at the start of purple player move. This player had a Desert terrain card and also an Oasis location tile. The problem occurred whether playing Desert as the first of the three terrain moves, or whether playing the Oasis tile first. According to my reading of the game rules, as soon as the terrain card is not possible, a new terrain card should be drawn (and repeat if needed until a move is possible).

We played Kingdom Builder last night. There were no "Desert" tiles available. The player playing next had to play Desert terrain cards. Player was not able to play because all Desert tiles were occupied. He also had a Location tile that allowed on of his pieces to be moved to allow a Desert tile to be available. He was able to play 1 desert tile and could not play further.

Spiele auf einem Turniertisch und muss noch ein Häuschen setzen, aber die Landschaft ist nicht mehr frei. Müsste eigentlich eine neue Landschaftskarte bekommen. Wie kann das Spiel weitergeführt oder beendet werden?
