The resources I had when trying to buy my science card at the end of the third age, plus the coins and the resources of the player on my right (as I am watching the screen) would have been enough but the game said I did not have enough resources. I did a screen shot and have an image I can email to you.

I might have opened a duplicate see bug 24874 (sorry), in my case I was mistakenly trying to build a duplicate card but the message was the "not enough ressource" message instead.

I too was unable to buy the University card I assumed I had misunderstood the nature of the Aexandria B 2nd Wonder stage but on checking the rules I think I should have been able to.

Most of these looks like a duplicate of boardgamearena.com/bug?id=25359
tomgp and PhhhhC from the image attached seems to already have the card in play (no table ID so hard to confirm 100%)
You can’t have 2 cards of the same name in play but error message is not enough ressources...

Same thing happened to me today. I had 3 of the four required resources, and my neighbors each had the one I was missing. I also had 18 coins, but was told I did not have enough resources or coins :/

Similar problem trying to buy Dispensary. Would say I do not have enough resources, when I had 2 of 3 and 6 gold to buy neighbor's resource.

I figured out I couldn't buy the card because I already had a card of the same name. This should be made clear when it won't let you buy a card. The alert makes it seem like you can't buy it because you don't have the resources, which isn't true.

It seems that most people here do not know the rules, before someone else add a report:
- you cannot build twice the same building
- your neighbor has to have the resources you need

Age III, trying to build Study, neighbors have 2 of the 3 resources, I have the 3rd, have plenty of coin. If it helps I have a Marketplace and so buying them would be 1 coin to each neighbor.

I tried to build something on my main card and even though I had part of the ressources and enough money to buy from my neighbours I could not build. It happened twice dirting the game.

Je n'ai pas pensé à utiliser la touche F5...

Je n'ai pas pu acheter la carte "guilde des scientifiques" alors qu'il ne me manque qu'1 ressource bois, que j'ai 3 pièces et que mes voisins ont des ressources bois. Ce problème est déjà survenu 1 fois pour l'achat de cette même carte.

Several times the a valid choice of card was not allowed by the interface, despite I had enough ressources

Je souhaitais jouer une carte scientifique : 2 bois + 1 papyrus + 1 verre. J'ai les 2 bois et le papyrus, et 8 pièces, pour acheter à mon voisin de droite son verre qu'il a (en carte grise)...
Je perd surement à cause de ça ;-)

Si je traduit bien l'anglais, c'est exactement le même bug

I also had the issue with wanting to purchase a card that the game told me I didn't have enough resources for the purchase. But upon double checking after the game, I definitely did. Not sure if the game didn't notice that my yellow card allowed me to pull a resource from a neighbor (player name: thequestion)or that it thought I didn't have enough money. The problem only occurred once that I was aware of.

Unable to buy Scriptorium.
I have the Market place card that allows the purchase of manufactured goods for 1 coin. My neighbour has the required Press goods card.

Expected result: the ability to purchase Press goods from my neighbour in order to select buy the Scriptorium card

Game said I didn't have enough resources/coins to buy this card, even though I did: had 3 of the required resources myself, my neighbor had the 4th resource, and I had 6 coins with which to buy it. I would've won :(

This has happened a couple of times, can't remember with what cards

It happened to me as well in table 419841672. I believe it is because I was trying to borrow from Forum (a yellow card) instead of a brown card. Here is the screenshot: imgur.com/a/4j9jd66.

My neighbors had the Ore vein ($2) and additional grey resource ($1, with marketplace) I needed to build the card.

This is a display issue. The card is impossible to construct due to another card with the same name already constructed.

The wrong message says there is not enough coins to build, but it should say that the card with the same name is already built.

This will be fixed soon.

Same issue again. I had coins to buy resources from neighbors but the game engie didn't allow it.

The issue was a wrong message. Usually the reason for not being able to build a building is that a player has already the building of the same type.

Latest update fix this and the message is a correct one.
