The Wolves is a pack-building strategy game for 2-5 players. It's survival of the fittest as you compete to build the largest, most dominant pack by claiming territory, recruiting lone wolves, and hunting prey. But be careful not to expand too recklessly into terrain where your rivals thrive– they may lure members of your pack away.
A clever action-selection mechanism drives your choices. Each action requires you to flip terrain tiles matching the terrain where you wish to take your action. These double-sided tiles mean the actions you take this round will set up which terrain types you can act on in the next round. As you take actions to expand your pack's control of each region, you also upgrade your pack's attributes, allowing you to take more aggressive actions as the game goes on.
In three mid-game scoring phases, power is calculated in each region. At the end of the game, players tally points based on VP tokens earned in these scoring phases and the highest VP number revealed in each of the six tracks on your player board. The player with the most VP wins!

The Wolves és un joc d'estratègia de formació de paquets per a 2-5 jugadors. És la supervivència del més apte mentre competeixes per construir la manada més gran i dominant reclamant territori, reclutant llops solitaris i caçant preses. Però vés amb compte de no expandir-te amb massa temeritat cap a terrenys on els teus rivals prosperen: poden allunyar els membres de la teva manada.
Un mecanisme intel·ligent de selecció d'accions guia les vostres eleccions. Cada acció requereix que feu capgirar les fitxes del terreny que coincideixin amb el terreny on voleu dur a terme la vostra acció. Aquestes fitxes de doble cara signifiquen que les accions que feu aquesta ronda establiran quins tipus de terreny podeu actuar a la ronda següent. A mesura que feu accions per ampliar el control del vostre paquet de cada regió, també actualitzeu els atributs del vostre paquet, cosa que us permetrà fer accions més agressives a mesura que avança el joc.
En tres fases de puntuació de mitja partida, es calcula la potència a cada regió. Al final del joc, els jugadors compten els punts en funció de les fitxes de VP obtingudes en aquestes fases de puntuació i el nombre de VP més alt revelat en cadascuna de les sis pistes del vostre tauler de jugadors. Guanya el jugador amb més VP!
